So much simpler to have been born here.
To feel clearly British.
To dream in your mother tongue.
To know where you belong.
Without question.
Body and soul joined in one place
And to call that place Home.
I understand what it is like to not really have a "home". I have always moved around, as a child and then an adult. I am envious of those who just know where they belong, or as you so eliquantly put it, dream in their mother tongue.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I look forward to reading more of yours.
I love your writing. And what a fabulous pendant.
ReplyDeleteThank you Alison. The necklace was made by the amazingly talented http://www.etsy.com/shop/lolaandcash and she will make anything your heart desires.
